“Captain Chucke is Nelsonville's travelin' folk punk troubadour. They began playing music in late 2015, releasing several solo albums leading up to 2019's album with friends Until I Turn To Dust. After covid hit, Captain Chucke went on hiatus until 2024 when the Cadillac South was formed. Since then, they've been playing all around Southern Ohio, and have released two eps recorded at Hocking College, Letters From the Other Side of Hell and Hearts Are Just Electrified Meat. Captain Chucke & the Cadillac South plays a mix of originals and folk punk covers, with some folk classics in the mix. These Appalachian punks playing folk music like Woody intended.”
