Based in Athens, OH, the Caitlin Kraus Band is comprised of singer/songwriter and guitarist Caitlin Kraus and musical wizards Matt "Foxy" Box (bass), Mark "Pokey" Hellenberg (drums/vocals), Bernie Nau (keys/vocals), and John Borchard (pedal steel, baritone & 12-string electric guitars). Their music is melodic, lyrical, and falls within indie-folk/alternative rock genres. They have completed two full-length albums of Kraus' original songs called What Rises (2020) and Gone Beyond (2023) at Peachfork Studios in Pomeroy, OH, and will soon be working on a third.
